It’s time to colour your conversations.
Anti oppression and anti racism training and consulting
Too often conversations about “Inclusion & Diversity” are tokenistic and one dimensional. The systemic nature of power & oppression is ignored, and there is no real investment in meaningful change in our movements, organisations and communities.
Meanwhile people with lived experience are sidelined, and forced to tirelessly educate people in their personal lives and workplaces for free. We’re tired of this ineffective approach and that’s why we created Hue.
Hue works to empower people and organisations with practical skills to challenge the root causes of racism and oppression.
Our Impact
-
We redistributed over $83,000 into our communities, through mutual aid funds, community initiatives, land back fundraisers or responding to individual asks for support.
$48,000 of this was to First nations people and initiatives to pay the rent.

“I attended a series of workshops as part of a board. I’ve since been more engaged in mutual aid, have been asking ‘who benefits most from this?’ when making business decisions and am better equipped to slow down and ask questions. I’ve revamped a board hiring model and will be signing up for more courses with you”
-
“Hue was instrumental in helping our family and mob navigate seeking community aide, and community funding raising. Through community aide we were able to support my mob through covid, escape family violence and relocate to a safer place. Thank you so much, Hue for helping us feel the love of community, when we needed it the most.”
What People Are Saying About Our Workshops
“Great prompts to break down and unpack the structures and nuances of racism, giving participants a chance to think critically about these things, rather than just being told what to think. Thank you for your positive and open facilitation of discussion.”

“I did your anti-racism and allyship training alongside the City of Sydney earlier this year and it is honestly the best workshop I think I’ve ever been to (and trust me, I’ve been to quite a few).”
